Projects dedicated to education, health, and community development

The Education Kit

“The Education Kit” is a charitable project developed by ASOCIAȚIA SCOP, aimed at supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing essential school supplies along with a basic first aid kit. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to the fundamental tools needed to learn, to help prevent school dropout, and to give them the confidence to pursue their dreams.

Through this project, we seek to actively involve the community, partners, and sponsors in building together a strong foundation for education and safety.

Empathetic and Effective Communication with the Patient for Modern Medicine

Non-formal continuous professional development program / training in empathetic and effective medical communication.

Communication is the foundation of a humanized medical act. In an era where technology and protocols dominate modern medicine, there is a risk of losing the human dimension of the doctor–patient relationship. This course addresses a pressing need among healthcare professionals: the development of genuine, empathetic, adaptive, and mindful communication skills. The program aligns with adult education methodology, emphasizing experiential learning, reflection, and immediate practical application.

Collaborating Partner in the Network for Inclusion and Efficient Services – RISE – EU

The project “RISE – Network for Inclusion and Efficient Services”, SMIS Code 337802, implemented by the Constanța County Employment Agency in partnership with the Federation of Youth Non-Governmental Organizations of Constanța (FONT CT) and Go-Ahead Association, is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Education and Employment Programme 2021–2027.

“Gen Z in Balance –
4 Steps Toward the Future”

The activities of the project “Gen Z in Balance – 4 Steps Toward the Future” have been designed in a coherent, phased, and integrative manner, directly addressing the identified needs of adolescents. The pilot program will take place in the city of Ovidiu, with beneficiaries also coming from the affiliated villages of Culmea and Poiana, offering Gen Z youth an alternative and sustainable educational pathway. All activities will be hosted at “Ion Podaru” Technological High School in Ovidiu, a safe and accessible environment for participants, while the final event will be organized at Zbor Hub, a community-based creative space well suited for celebrating achievements.

The educational program is structured over four consecutive weeks, with a frequency of two sessions per week, each lasting approximately two hours. The consistent pace, safe atmosphere, and participatory approach will enable genuine adolescent engagement in the learning and self-exploration process. The methodology includes modern non-formal education methods, such as role-playing, reflection exercises, simulations, teamwork, debates, and mindfulness practices.

Legal Education for a More Informed and Proactive Generation

Within Asociația SCOP, we promote non-formal legal education as a tool for civic formation and social responsibility. Through dynamic and accessible workshops, delivered by an accredited trainer and legal professional, we help young people understand the principles of democracy, criminal and civil law, basic notions of contracts, liability, bullying, harassment, the Constitution, and fundamental human rights.

Our programs are built around dialogue, role-playing, case studies, and real-life scenarios, transforming legal information into a living, practical, and relevant experience. The goal is clear: to foster a more informed, aware, and active generation, capable of knowing their rights, assuming responsibilities, and contributing to a society grounded in respect, equity, and the rule of law.

Project December is the campaign through which we transform solidarity into real action, bringing light into the homes of families in need during the holiday season. Instead of an ordinary December, we build one that truly matters — for the community, for children, and for the future.

As part of the campaign, we collect:

  • Material donations

  • Non-perishable food items

  • Sweets for children

  • Clothing in very good condition or new

  • New toys

  • School supplies

  • Books for children and teenagers (ages 4–17)

We ensure that every donated item reaches those who need it most, while fully respecting the dignity and specific needs of each family.

Financial Support

We also accept financial donations, which are used entirely to address the urgent needs of families.

In addition to non-perishable food for the winter, these funds allow us to provide fresh food on Christmas Eve, ensuring that every family can enjoy a proper Christmas dinner in warmth and dignity.

Transparency is a core value for us — all funds are used exclusively for the campaign’s beneficiaries, and a final public report will be made available.

Project December

Why December?

Because the winter months are financially much more difficult for families who are already struggling. Expenses increase, incomes remain the same, and children’s needs do not stop. The families we support are carefully selected in collaboration with social services and come from among our fellow community members who, despite working, are unable to make ends meet.

We do not focus on numbers, but on real impact. That is why we support the same families year after year — because meaningful change is built over time, through relationships, not statistics. Project December stands for continuity, respect, and genuine care.

We light the good. Get involved!

Every gesture, no matter how small, can light up a family’s life.
Thank you for choosing to be part of the change.
